I consulted with Dusty Robotics to define and visualize consumer-product interactions among different stakeholder groups. For this project, I:

• Interviewed clients to chart different user types and activities;
• Created user flows;
• Conceptualized multiple use case scenarios;
• Hand-drafted and digitized storyboards;
• Provided high quality, presentation-ready materials.

President   Corrales Elementary PTA | Jul 2018 – Jun 2019

As president, I served as the managing executive of our school’s PTA. For this position I:

• Advocated for support and resources for every student in our school;
• Ensured our PTA was compliant with 501(c)(3) non-profit regulations;
• Trained, counseled, and provided information to parents,  teachers, and adult volunteers;
• Oversaw administration of our bylaws and the activities of board officers and committee chairs;
• In partnership with our treasurer, oversaw our $25,000 budget, fundraisers, and disbursements; 
• Had a lot of fun with students, parents, and staff at our school.

Contract Visual Communication Designer,  Various | 1998 – 2001, 2007 – 2018

Partnering principally with schools, non-profits, and small businesses, I guided the process of establishing a consistent presence in print and online. As a visual communications designer, I:

• Developed brand identity and marketing materials for print and digital mediums;
• Created diverse publications, from business cards to booth displays;
• Created unique illustrations, logos, and artwork for collateral;
• Wrote and edited all types of publication content;
• Oversaw printing, production and distribution of documents, including bulk print runs;
• Supported many of my clients in establishing their first presence on the Internet.

Girl Scouts of Northern California | 2001 – 2005

This challenging position required balance among many responsibilities. In this position, I:

• Managed in-house print and digital designs to ensure internal and external documentation was on-brand;
• Supported marketing and advertising activities;
• Wrote press releases and supported public relations activities;
• Acted as volunteer liaison for communications and council history committees;
• Played vital roles in major projects, including redesigning the website and key publications to reflect the modern voice of Girl Scouting.
